Students of the department demonstrated excellent presentation skills at last week's School of Biomedical Sciences (BMS) Postgraduate Symposium, coming out on top in both the talk categories.
Overall, Microbiology and Immunology was extremely well represented and this was reflected in the results.
Congratulations to:
- Cara Adolph (PhD student, Cook lab), winner of the 10-minute talk category (who has won a trip to attend the Postgraduate Symposium at the University of Queensland later this year)
- Alice McSweeney (PhD, Ward lab), third place in the 10-minute talk category
- Gemma Laws (MSc, student, Kemp lab), winner of the 3-minute talk category
