Dr Jemma Geoghegan wins Te Puiaki Kaipūtaiao Maea Prime Minister’s MacDiarmid Emerging Scientist Prize!

Congratulations to Dr Jemma Geoghegan for being the second woman to win the Te Puiaki Kaipūtaiao Maea Prime Minister’s MacDiarmid Emerging Scientist Prize!

Dr Geoghegan's genomics research has been at the forefront of our battle against COVID-19, and she plans to use the $200,000 prize money to inspire more women to pursue science.
