Associate Professor Peter Fineran is one of two University of Otago researchers to have received national awards at the recent Queenstown Research Week.
Peter was presented with the $4000 ThermoFisher Scientific Awards, reflecting research excellence using molecular-based techniques that has been published in international journals.
He said this ''fantastic honour'' reflected positively on other researchers in his laboratory.
