Congratulations to Associate Professor Alex McLellan, who has been awarded a funding grant of $150,000 over 24 months from the Health Research Council.
The funded research project, entitled A proton switch for T cell migration and activation, will exploit the low pH environment of solid tumours as a means of enhancing immunotherapy that targets T cells.
HRC Explorer Grants are intended to provide seed support for transformative research ideas at an early stage, before an application for greater investment through standard funding mechanisms.
