Current research:

My current project looks at capitalizing on proteins derived from lytic phages to harness their bactericidal activity against antibiotic resistant gram-negatives. Our aim is to build a respository of proteins from phage that can be combined randomly to build libraries that will then be assessed for their efficacy in either killing or inhibiting the growth of the phytopathogen Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae.
