Current Research
Our goal is to prevent cervical cancer by developing immunotherapies for the treatment of low-grade human papillomavirus (HPV) lesions of the cervix. Our research focus is to identify how HPV inhibits immune activation at the molecular level. This research is designed to increase our fundamental understanding of interactions between cells infected with cancer-causing virus and the host immune system, which will broadly impact on our understanding of cancer immune evasion.
