Current Research
Research in the Disease Research Laboratory (DRL) targets immunity to mycobacterial infections in domestic livestock (sheep and deer) and wildlife (Cape buffalo). All facets of immunity to infection including improved diagnosis, vaccination and selection for heritable resistance are studied.
