Yoshio Nakatani, Research Fellow in the Cook Lab, has started a research collaboration in the field of infectious disease research with a Japanese pharmaceutical company.
The research will utilize the recent findings in the Cook Lab, and the project leaders hope this will eventually lead to the development of new anti-infective drugs. Yoshio will receive collaborative research funding for two-years for the project.
