‘Palaeogenomics of Prehistoric New Zealand’
Dr Nic Rawlence is Director of the Otago Palaeogenetics Laboratory in the Department of Zoology. Nic’s research focuses on using ancient DNA to reconstruct prehistoric Aotearoa New Zealand, the impacts of climate change and humans on this ecosystem, and how this information can be used to conserve our precious taonga species.
