Three PhD students from the Microbiology and Immunology have received funding from the Maurice and Phyllis Paykel Trust, allowing them to travel to attend conferences and workshops.

The Trust encourages the development of health-related research in New Zealand by providing funds for research support as well as studentships, scholarships and fellowships for the research training of students and graduates working in the health science faculties of selected New Zealand universities.
