Dr Ros Kemp has received an award as part of the American Association of Immunologists' Travel for Techniques Program. This program assists member PIs in their efforts to expand their skill sets to benefit their research. AAI reimburses award recipients as much as $1,500 in travel expenses incurred on a trip to another laboratory to learn a technique.
Ros will be visiting Barbara Fazekas de St. Groth’s laboratory at the Centenary Institute in Camperdown, Australia to learn time-of-flight mass cytometry techniques. This will support her study of tumour immune microenvironment in patients with colorectal cancer.
