The Department of Microbiology and Immunology has received four awards in this year's round of Sandy Smith Scholarships.
The scholarships, in the name of the late Sandy Smith, are awarded by the Dunedin Basic Medical Sciences Course Trust for medical and science graduates making a significant contribution to the area of medical microbiology. The scholarships are each worth up to $20,000.
