Course overview
MICR 495 / IMMU 495 are the research project component for the 1st year of a 2-year MSc degree. You will undertake preliminary research for your thesis within one of the research labs in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Because the MSc is a postgraduate degree that requires placement in a research group for two years, before application you must meet and discuss project options with potential supervisors to find a suitable supervisor and research project. MICR 495 / IMMU 495 have no formal classes
Assessment
MICR 495 / IMMU 495 is 100% internally assessed and there will be two assessment items for MICR 495 / IMMU 495:
- End of year progress report (90%)
- End of year project talk (10%)
