Course overview
MICR 480 is the research project component for PGDipSci. To complete this paper you will undertake a 6-month research project within one of the research labs in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Staff members will introduce available research projects in the first week of Semester One during the introductory week for 4th year Microbiology. MICR 480 has no formal classes.
Assessment
MICR480 is 100% internally assessed. There will be two assessment items for MICR 480:
- Submission of a project report/dissertation and 20 minute oral examination (90%)
- End of year talk (10%)
